What you will do
As assistant manager, your work will include:
- Planning the work and managing staff
- Managing and carrying out production work
- Climate control and energy management
- Crop care and crop protection, for example biological control with insects
- Watering and applying fertilisers
You divide the tasks together with our dedicated operations manager and stand in for him when he is away. With his knowledge and experience, you can learn a lot from him.
Who we are looking for
- You have an MBO (vocational) diploma in flowers, plants or bulb growing, or extensive experience with ornamental crops
- You are proactive and know how to get things done
- You are ambitious and eager to learn, and willing to keep developing
- You are flexible and work well in a team
